Sales tax
Value Added Tax (VAT, currently 20%) is calculated on shipping destination. It is included in the price for orders shipped to destinations within the European Union (EU). For orders shipped to destinations outside the EU the price excludes VAT but orders may be subject to local sales tax or import duty on arrival. These are not included in our prices and customers remain liable for payment of these taxes or duties on or following delivery.
Payment methods
All orders must be paid for by debit card or credit card. Payment by electronic bank transfer is possible if you prefer, please contact us for details. For online ordering we also accept payment by Paypal. All prices are in UK pounds sterling (£). Credit card transactions for orders from outside the UK will be converted by your card company at their current exchange rates.

Law
The contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts. Product suitability and training
Customers should be aware that paragliding, hang gliding, speedflying and speedriding are potentially dangerous sports that can lead to serious injury or death. The use of unsuitable and/or incorrect equipment can increase this danger. Goods are supplied on the understanding that the end user has appropriate knowledge and experience of their sport, and can choose equipment suitable to their skill level. If there is any doubt in your mind as to the suitability of any equipment we supply please contact Cloudbase Paragliding for advice. We will not be held responsible for any loss, injury or death resulting from the use of equipment supplied.
Courses and Bookings
Customers who have purchased a course or trip following payment must book using the Wix calendar. Use the menu above and select Online Booking. It is the responsibility for customers to continue to book in if the day they choose is unsuitable for the training course or flight. The nature of UK weather means your instructor will be assessing days which are suitable, regular cancellations are normal until a day becomes available.
Refunds will only be offered if a student has booked his/her first booking within six weeks of the purchase date and has had 12 or more bookings cancelled because of bad weather during the twelve month voucher limit. Cloudbase and the student will mutually agree a date, time and meeting point for training by email, telephone, text, Skype or other method as may be available at the time. Once booked, Cloudbase may change, postpone or cancel the arranged date, time or location of training for any reason and will make all reasonable endeavours to notify the student. Package Deals
All package deals are to be paid in full before completion of your CP course. If paying in full before the start of your EP then all training is included. If paying after EP then £850 (CP) is added to the overall cost of the package deal. Payment after CP completion will incur no benefit and will cost the full package amount including the cost of EP and CP.
